marissa said he could turn a lim-lim to stone, if she had her crimson veil. now that she has it, there isn't an option to ask her to "stone" my lim-lim? is this a bug? and do you have any other use for lim-lim?

The lim-lim is only kinda neat to have around. Getting it turned to stone or maltreating might count as an evil deed, but I'm not sure. In any case, it accomplishes nothing.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Turning your lim-lim to stone can get you the password to the anarchists.
The reason you are not able to get it turned to stone is because the dialog is bugged.
For future reference this is what you have to do to get around the bug;
When Marissa says:
"Hmm... describe yourself for me."
you should respond with:
"You first, Marissa."
If you do that instead of the "Truth:" or "Lie:" option there, you should be able to ask her about petrifying your Lim-Lim once she gets her veil back.
If you've already gone through this dialog with her or given her the veil, it's too late.
