I know, that sounds like a stupid question, let me tell you why I ask:
I'm in Ust Natha doing a few quests for Lloth. after one i'm told to meet in a certain place in 3 days. so with nothing else to do and not wanting to get into any trouble, I went to the Tavern and slept 9 times. 24 hours x 3 days= 72 hours. 72 hours/ 8hours=9 times. So then I wake up and Sola shows up and exposes me cause I'm late. What gives? What did I do wrong?
how long is a day?
how long is a day?

I think you should have arrived right before the 3 day limit. It was probably over that limit because you might have had an hour go by inbetween restings, or after when you tryed to back to where they were. Actually, you could've probably rested once and gone there, they probably would've been there.
An hour game time is 6 minutes real-time. One minute game-time (or a round in PnP) is 6 seconds real-time(a round in this game).

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.
If I recal correctly (and excuse me if I dont), in Fearun there are 30 hours in a day. 2 hours in RL is equal to about 18-20 hours.
Not to sure exactly. I haven't read the manual in ages...
A moderator or game expert like Sabre or Astafas should know this exactly.....

BG2 uses the normal time length, so it's 24 hours a day. However, all of the things that you do in the Underdark have a 3 days time limit - meaning you have to turn up before the 3 days is up - as Gaxx_Firkraag pointed out. I normally just go to the stated location straight after I finished talking to the person giving me the quest - provided that I am prepared for battle that is.
