Black Screen After Intro+Lagginess

Post by Arcane »

SYS SPECS-
Windows XP Home Edition
Radeon 32mb
196 RAM (i think this is the problem)
A New Hardisk (only things on it are NWN and UT)

Problem-
I start the game, go through all the intro screens and am forced into a black screen waiting period for about say, 1-2 minutes, then when something does pop up, the mouse-respond interface is totally messed up and everything is laggy...

I've downloaded at least 3 drivers since last night and none of it works....

Anyone?

Sounds like a video card problem...try setting hardware mouse to 0 in nwn.txt. That might solve the mouse-lag problem at least. Try adjusting resolution settings and other stuff down, and make sure 32-bit color is enabled on your desktop. Also make sure that game and desktop resolution are the same. Hopefully that will help some.
