Where are the arrows of detonation?

Post by Bruce Lee »

I have heard they can be found in the beholder dungeon but I have looked everywhere and they are nowhere to be found. Is this a bug or what?

Arrows of detonation in SOA? Serious?
I tought they were in BG1 only!
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

Detonation? Could they be part of an unofficial add-on? I don't recall 'em in the main game. Arrows of Dispelling, yes, but not Detonation.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I read it here on gamebanshee in the equipment section that they could be found in the beholder dungeon but I never have.
Maybe a mistake then.

Arrows of Detonation can be found in three places in the game:

- You are supposed to find some in the Beholders cave in the UD...
- Some of Amnish Guard carry an arrow or two.
- You may find some arrows as a random loot.

I cannot be controlled.
(I probably cannot be contained either) :p ;)

Has anyone actually found them? Exact location would be awesome.
Thanks for clearing things up Alson.

No problem. You helped me many times, i'm just paying you back :) .
Anyway, yes, i did found some arrows - a few in the Beholders cave, and a few on the guard that stands at the bottom corner of the Sea's Bounty tavern  .

If I recall correctly, I found about ten Arrows of Detonation (yes, Detonation) the last time I played Shadows of Amn. I can't remember exactly where they were, but they were scattered about.

Yes, the ARROWS OF DETONATION are in BG2. And they can be found in the Beholder Dungeon within the Underdark. The EXACT location escapes me, but they are found within the walls, so check those.

Arrows of Detonation are not found anywhere in the game as _fixed_ loot. The only place to find them is as a random treasure.

Oh my... we're just talking about some arrows, not the Staff of the Magi! ;)
If you'd like to just CLUA them in I'll give you the item code...
