im having trouble murdering

I just got the game and ive played for a while now, evry time i try to murder someone {for a job, or just for fun} they ALWAYS kill me! help!

MURDER?

It sounds like your char is too weak to be out Murdering people. That aside, here are some tips for murder. Go behind the person and hold down control to sneak (wait for the sneak symbol to appear next to your weapon and magic symbol in bottom left corner) then attack. This will give you a critical hit (assuming your attack hits at all) which is a pretty good jump start on average NPCs.
Keep in mind that this game doesn't play well from an "evil" perspective but most quest murders should go OK. It also helps to murder people where no one else can see it (or report it). Join the thieves guild and you can have prices removed from your head. Also, check your journal after a murder quest is given...sometimes you will write something that sounds like your Char isn't convinced...ask around about it.

to increase your sneak skill...stand behind someone and hold down sneak(it will probablyflash off and on). Then prop something on the sneak button and go to bed! Wake up to sneak skill of 100 and if its one of your prime or second skills go rest and lvl up. This also works for athletics at a much slower pace if you run in a corner.

another question, wats the best place to get really good armor without killing millions of things

u can get some orc armor in caldera.its in a crate in some manore full of orcs.the crate is on the top floor and though there is a guy who can see u do it i dont think he reports u.also if u go to great house redoran in vivec there is a key in the dralor manor which is in the redoran plaza. the key is in a droor and give u acces to the redooran treasury. if u get cot stealing the key dont feel obligated to kill the people chasing u , just leave. when u get to the treasury open 1 of the 2 cages. and wait for the guards to leave them if ur security is low and loot away. i think theres some ebony armor in there.

Within the vaults are ebony armor and weapons along with glass armor and weapons. Plus lots and lots of money!

Armor

Another good place to get good beginner Armor is in Vivec at the Hall of Justice. Go to the Ordinator barracks and if your sneak skill is good enough you can "borrow" Ordinator Armor from various chests and closets. Indoril Armor is pretty good Medium(maybe light) armor for a new Char. It's not the best but works good for natural progression of your Char...It's not always fun to have the very best stuff right off the bat...makes it too easy.

P.S. don't get caught shoplifting (anywhere, ever!) with stolen Indoril Armor, you'll wind up standing there in your Fruit of the Looms, or if you're in Vivec you'll be fighting some tough Ordinators.

P.S.S. Indoril Helmet is kinda cool...My Wood Elf looks like a Midget Ordinator now!! YAY!

theres also some lords mail wich has a realy high armor rating. its in ebonheart i n an under water passaage close to a trail there a guy u gotta kill for it though.

TO BECOME A VAMPIRE

To become Vampire you need to fight a Vampire and get bitten but live (if you can't defeat one, try running away). Wait three days and you will be a Vamp! If you don't want to be a Vampire you must use cure common disease before three days.

The benefits to being a Vamp are pretty awesome and there are some good quests, but every silver lining has it's cloud. You'll also have to be pretty observant to learn how to cure Vampirism.

P.S. questions are great...but if you are a newb, maybe you should put a little more time into solving some problems yourself.

i havent seen a vamp yet, so what do hey look like and do u have to be a certain lvl before they show up, if not where are they?

Vampires are found in some tombs throughout Vvardenfell. You can also find them in a few Dwemer Ruins.

What do they look like?-The look like common people except their eyes are noticably white-no iris in the eye-just plain white eyes. The also have the traditional vampire teeth. Note that vampires could come in any different race from Imperials to Khajiits.

If you ever enter a place that has slaves that are named "cattle" you know you are in the general area of vampires.

I have never become a vampire before-though I have played through the game-every time theyve bitten me, Ive immediately used cure common disease.

So what are the advantages and disadvantages of being a vampire-*spoilers wanted*

No-you can be any level you want to be. I will tell you one place you can find vampires. Try looking in the 2 dwemer ruins near Uvirith's Grave (look at the map that came with the manual-its in the northern parts of the Molag Amur region-due west of Tel Fyr). You should find vampires in at least one of those ruins. Another place I just thought of are the dwemer ruins southwest of the Urshilaku Camp (northern Ashlands region). One dwemer ruin has routene dwemer machines/creatures. The other one has vampires in it. Happy searching

There are a lot of bonuses for being a Vampire 20 point boost in strength, willpower, and speed 30 point boost in Sneak, Athletics, Acrobatics, Hand-to-hand, Unarmored, Mysticism, Illusion and Destruction. There are also bonuses depending on the clan, Berne family gets +20 Agility and +20 Sneak, Unarmored, and H2H. Aundae gets+20 Short Blade and+20 Willpower, Mysticism, and Destruction. Quarra gets +20 Blunt and + 20 Strength, H2H and Heavy Armor.

There are other advantages...but I will leave you hanging for now
Later I'll mention the disadvantages...which I'm sure you can imagine the severity of considering the upside.

i have found a vampire cave west of balomora and the vamps keep using a spell that drains my health fast, anyway i keep letting them hit me and i dont get infected.

Thats tough. Cain you withstand their blows at your level? If you can-keep trying.

Also be sure that you are getting infected. It is a very subtle change in your character. If you step up to commoners-they will tell you wheter you are sick or not. If you are sick and you faced vampires very recently, than more likely than not, you were infected and you didnt notice.

yea i can wit stand 3 magic blows before dying, and i keep getting only a change atrrobute desise(sp.).

P.S is there any way to become a vamp with vamp dust, if there is, it would help a lot.
