My favorite is the monk cause when he's at his highest level and has some MR-granting stuff equiped, he's virtually inderstucible.
* non- magical weapon resistance
* natural (great) AC
* fists become +4 weapons (so no worry finding yourselfs some good weapons)
* natural 78% MR
* Walks faster than others
* stealth and detect traps

The down side is that he cannot wear armor but that doesn't matter cause he has a great AC of his own.

1 Human Male Blade
2 Female Elven Kensai dualwielding Katanas
3 Human Male Cavalier with a nice shiny armour and a big shield and a magical bastad sword.
4 Elven female f/m/t
5 Dwarven Male Barbarian using Flails
Ah there are so many different options and the list changes constantly but the Blade remains top of the list.
You can't handle the truth!

Elven male archer. I just like the class, and elves.

I like the Undead Hunter, though the kit is absurdly overpowered in some areas. It's just a cool sounding kit. :cool:

The only thirf I ever play is a Swashbuckler, as I rarely use the backstab anyway. I am now going through with my first magic user(sorceror) so that should be different.
Lord of Lurkers

Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

Especially so through much of SoA, but he loses his shine in ToB b/c by then Turn Undead, be it by paladin or cleric, will instantly kill just about every undead critter in the game (and in ToB there's not much).

Now the cavalier, there's a ridiculously overpowered kit in ToB. Essentially the undead hunter and cavalier switch positions from SoA to ToB.

I like them both though. Paladins in general are a great class for a PC, role-playing wise and otherwise.

1. Human stalker (love to backstab and NOT having to run like hell after that)
2. Half-orc barbarian (sure, there are better kits/races but with this one I did my first run through the game)
3. Elven wild mage (the unpredictability adds real excitement to a lot of battles, especially the though ones)
