the Jadale quest...

In Luskan, a male gnome prostitute in Bella's wonderful whorehouse gives you a quest to recover his ring from the Lady Jadale. I have been to her house before, and talked to her and looted her house, finding no ring. So... I decided to go back and talk to her about it (y'know... maybe she'll give it up without bloodshed). No option to talk to her about the ring appeared. I looked all over her whole house - nothing. Anyone have any idea how to finish this quest?
