Help with Mazzy Quest
Ok, why the heck does Wallace not tell me anything after Mazzy's mother sends me to him to ask about the poison????
You have Mazzy in your party? You let her approach (I believe she initiates the dialogue)?

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

Earlier save perhaps? Maybe something got wrong if you tried to talk to Wallace with another character first. Have you tried going directly to the temple?

Yes, I've tried everything. It's weird. I might have waited to long b/c at one point in the game, Mazzy said she would be forced to leave the party if I didn't go to trademeet asap. However, she is still with me and hasn't threatend. I wonder since I spoke with the siste, if Mazzy will stay and the game thinks the quest is complete.
Thanks
Thanks
Sorry ropp, have no idea what has happened. Well, as long as Mazzy doesn't leave there is no harm - you'll survive without the XPs.

@ropp - How familiar are you with using the console? I'm thinking that Mazzy's quest isn't progressing because a global variable failed to get set.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

You can do it from within the game. First, you must enable cheats by editing your baldur.ini file (found in your game directory). Add the following line under [Program Options]:
Debug Mode=1
Save the file and restart the game. In the game, bring up the console by pressing <crtl><space>. Now, I'm guessing that the global, Pala, somehow didn't get set to the correct value, which is why Mazzy is not initiating a dialog with Wallace. To set it, enter the following at the console:
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("Pala","GLOBAL",2)
The command is case-sensitive. After doing this, as soon as Mazzy sees Wallace, she should start a dialog. Hope this works!

I don't know, this quest seems broken in my game, too. It works up to a point, but then Wallace won't talk to me about it, he just acts like a normal merchant...the guy that he points to, in the temple, is not there.
I never tried CLUAing anything, I just went on without finishing the quest and Mazzy never mentioned it again. She stayed with the party for the rest of the game, but I don't know how many game days it took. Not that many, I don't think.

I've had this happen, and if you go around to the other side of the fence , behind Wallace, Mazzy will talk to him through the fence.
