Shapeshifter=Dragon scale?

I heard that the shapeshifter can wear the shadow dragon scale armor with a certain patch...Is that true? If yes where can I find this patch?

Shapeshifters are not allowed to wear *any* armor. There was an armor they could wear in ToB, but that was a bug. I dodn't know if there's an armor in SoA, but I'm 100% certain that it would be a bug.
So, you won't find any *patches* that enable you to wear armor. (But there might be some other files, though these are considered cheating)

Yes.. they indeed are allowed to wear the Shadow Dragon Scales WITHOUT a patch.. coz it's a bug. And in ToB they can wear the White Dragon Scales.

But they can, craig. My avenger used the Ankheg Plate, though (looks so good on a druid).
