Bhaal is being a pain in the @$$

Ok, maybe my game is messed up but, I am in spellhold in BG2:SOA and I cannot get Bhall to follow me into the building. I have tried for hours running in and out of the door, digging around different webpages and I even unleashed every spell I had at him to try and piss him off, but he still will not follow me. Anyone know why?

If you don't have some glitch in your game that dream should run like this:
You offer a point in a given stat to open the door to "Candlekeep". You go in, talk with Imoen and she tells you to lead "the beast" to her.
So you go out, find bhaal (in th eshape of Sarevok) and he gives a little speech. After that, he attacks you. Just run a bit, not letting your PC out of his sight and lead him to imoen.
Kill him, and you're done.

If this doesn't work, I would suggest that you reload and try again-

Tried reloading, cannot get him to follow me. Does it matter what I say to him, I told him "Catch me if you can". I also tried removing all my magical equipment and he still won't follow. I can get him to chase me to the door but as soon as I go in he stays outside.

First thing you have to do, is give the demon a point of strenght/dex/con/etc. and go inside.
Then talk to imoen. Fter this you should be able to lure bhaal inside.
