Scrolls and Questions and Demons, Oh my!

Post by Vivien »

Hey all! :) *hug*

Okay, I'm in chapter two if NWN. I'm officially a wee bit addicted. ;)
(Spoilers, sort of, just being careful) *Viv looks around carefully to make sure she's hasn't drawn the attention of 'the mods'* :)

I'm in this creepy little town 'Charwood' and have been given the responsibility to judge between two brothers. I've spoken to both brothers and have written confirmations as to their situation. I also summoned the demon (out of curiosity, to see if it would work) and he attacked me right off. I know I need a 'protection from evil' spell, but have that not.

I'm a bard, not one of those boring Paladins after all. :D

Is such a scroll planted somewhere nearby? It was a lot of undead to wade through and I stopped looking as carefully as I should have. I also teleported back to Port Last, but the temple guy didn't seem to have such a scroll. So, any ideas as to how I may get one?

Also, is there anything I should do with the statue to lathandar? Just checking :)

Thanks!

there should be a wand w/ protection from alignment around on the same level as the summon room.

i've not been able to get the lathander statue to do anything...

That quest was actually one of my favorite in the entiere game, nice to see a quest that isn't the usually "Fed-ex" or "Kill monster X and bring me item Y" :)

Sorry - kinda OT ;)

That's okay, I'm an OT kind of girl :D

Okay, yes, I found the wand and used it. The Demon cowered...or at least didn't outright attack me this time :) Thanks :)

I was very excited about this quest, but...there were too many undead to wade through. I wanted to wander the towers picking up clues and talk to the brothers, but these mummy's and cursed rangers kept getting in the way. I went through so many pets :)

But, very enjoyable none the less :)

Hey Viv! I'm not a boring Paladin, I resent that remark! :(

I too really liked that quest. My Paladin had real fun with his Extra Turning. I swung my sword about once in that area, he destroyed everyone with that turning. :D

I've actually got a question though, what do you do with the statue of Lathander?

About the statue i haven't found anything either, and since there are no clues as of what to do, maybe there is nothing we can do. But i'm also very curious about this. :)
