All the small things

Post by hwttdz »

Who thought that Icewind dale did a good job of getting a lot of the small things right. Of note are the "max hit points when leveling" button and the color matching of the paper doll/avatar to the portrait that you choose. With the hit points you can play on the harder settings without having to reroll. Any other things like these and do people agree with me here.

I know most likely neither will be in IWD II but they would be nice.

I agree - I really like a lot of the features, especially the max HP per level thing. One thing I didn't like - the scarcity of scrolls.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

The labled maps in BG II are really nice so is it's ability to edit journal entries. From the original Baldur's Gate it was slick when you entered an area you began on the side you came from.
