I know there are other threads about this but my searches haven't found what I'm looking for.
What is the Sola Mod? Or maybe to begin What is A Mod? I have been away from SOA and TOB for a while and I'm A little out of the loop.
Will it mess up my Gameplay to install it into a game I recently started?

IMO its one of the better mods available. Its makes the game more fun, harder, and gives and extra NPC.
U can install it while ur playing, it wont give you any problems (unless you have other non-Weidu Mod's.......if thats the case then post here again for help)
