Messed up Mages Guild quests (SPOILER)

Before starting Edwinna's quests (Ald'ruhn guild), I happened to have found Hulleen's Hut and killed the scamp, not knowing it's one of the duty she *would* give me.

Now, Edwinna skipped earlier quests she supposed to give me, and started with Dwemer tube quest. That's not a problem. The problem is, Edwinna supposed to ask me to pick a Detect Creature potion from Skink in Sadrith Mora before, but she never did. So, after arriving Sadrith Mora, I found Skink only says, "maybe later. I'm busy preparing a potion for Edwinna", and doesn't give me any quest.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Yes this is quite a quandry as they say.....Hmmmmm...

Well-this never happened to me, so youre going to have to deal with some lowsy suggestions, but its all I got....

1)Try finishing all the quests Edwinna gives you, then maybe shell go back and do the earlier ones...but that is doubtful

2) Maybe you could buy a potion that she needs and give it to Edwinna, but this is also unlikely....

3)Try looking for "hot words" or words that appear in the dialogue box for the potion. Maybe its there.

, but this is all Ive got for suggestions, maybe someone else has the true answer or maybe my suggestions work.

Silly question, but, did you rescue Huleen's apprentice from the closet?

I did.

I found a few posts in the official Morrowind forum regarding the same problem. Seems to be a know bug.
