Towards Slaver Ship...

Post by dios »

Ok first and foremost: SPOILER ALERT (i belive)!!!

You know when Hendak has asked you to clear out the rest of the slaver in the city, the slave ship. When you're walking down there in the sewers and just has found the lover's ring you can walk up to the right (from me seen than) and enter a new room. The room contains som svamps(?) and a Myconid King who just takes suicide. Why doesen't he survive? I mean i have killed all the Svamps(?) but than he just say's the thing "i am the last" and falls down to the ground dead...strange... why can't he survive?

Highlight to read...
If there's something more important than my ego. I want it caught and shot now.

I managed to keep the mage in Bodhi's lair alive, but he starts following your PC wherever you go! So I reloaded and let him die as he was meant to :D

Ive saved people in the D'arnise Hold (2 or 3 people I have managed to save from them trolls and yuan-tis). I work so hard to try to save these random people, and when I finally succeed in saving them all they say is something like:
"Oh.....hello" or "Well met and welcome"
or something along those lines. Obviously the game was set up so that you wouldnt save them, and the dialogue indicates that the game wasnt prepared for you to save them.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Must be a broken script, since AFAIK he's scripted to die

Same thing happened to me today - whithout intention to do so my hasted PC got between Haz (that's the mage) and the first Grimwarder attcking him and Haz survived and started to follow me around. I can't remember employing any of the known script-breaking spells.

Another thing was that (imp) Bodhi retreated from the first battle without getting any damage, after a certain amount of time had passed, she left, stating she'd "seen enough". All I did was running around - hasted and thinking about how to hurt her. I always thought that she'd have to take a certain amount of damage before she leaves that fight.

And last but not least I ran into the unkillable Kangaxx bug when I confronted Lassal in Bodhi's sanctum. Took me a few moments to realize that protection from undead was the problem.
