help! (ch5.. im dumber than everyone)

i have a hard time finding HOW TO GET TO THE WYVERN PIT!!!! All the sides are surrounded, its no help looking at the location on the map, there are walls around it.... how i get in?

On Dragon's Eye level 1 there is a stairway leading down to the Wyvern pit in the area where you fight the Wyverns who leave behind their stingers. Look for a large broken up piece of the earth and thats how you get down.
