Misplaced Sunder

Post by SSRat »

I hope there's a solution. I have misplaced Sunder.

I tried the: AddItem"Sunder" 1 command in console but it's not working.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Odd...I looked in the TES construction kit and the ID is indeed just Sunder. Are you sure you got the syntax right?

player -> AddItem "Sunder" 1

I tried all variations of that.

I've tried w/ and w/o the space after AddItem, i've tried sunder and Sunder.

Is there any way for the TESCS to tell me where the item is currently located?

Hmm, I stuck exactly what I wrote above into the console, and it worked...that was with a character that hadn't gotten it the first time yet though.

Thanks

Thanks for your persistence, hehe.

I wasn't typing the "player ->" part.

I thought that part was intuitive to the console. Oh well, I have it now, thanks again.

Hey, no worries. I thought that might be the problem because of what you said you were typing above...

go into the CS, drop a sunder close to your location. Load the plugin, and pick it up.

Lol, I do the same thing with the creeper... I remember getting to level 20 lvling up so the main quest would go alot faster. And I put my darn papers for the blades operative somewhere! I spent an hour looking for them and went to almost all the cities I went to, but it was hopless (I have morrowind on xbox)

Mudcrab

I do the same w/ the mudcrap merchant. I sold him everything i could and stashed the rest in Balmora (I took over someone's house) until my stronghold was built. Now I store everything in my stronghold.

I've got a nice collection. I even bought the unique items back from Mudcrab.

Unfortunately, Sunder seems to have dissappeared. I checked all my vendors and old stashes with no luck. Finally got the additem to work and have taken care of Dagoth Ur. I was itching to move on to Tribunal.

A small modification to you looting plan though. I take everything as far as i can until i kill someone and become overburdened. Then i stash everything on the body, continue on, returning as necessary. That way you have less back tracking to do as often times the first guy you kill is near the entrance.

It's still very odd that Sunder went missing. I always keep constant effect items. Maybe those stories of artifacts searching for new owners is true.......... :)
