The guy in the Trademeet pub

Post by Satyr »

Does anyone know what the deal is with the guy (Veikrag or something like that?) in the pub that recognizes you as a child of Bhaal, then gets toasted by a lightning bolt?

I'm pretty sure he's in there for fun, as there is no quest pertaining to him, nor is there anything else you can do with regards to him.

Thats what I thought the first time.. but I just met him on my second run through and he didn't freak out right away.... said something like "Leave me alone". It was only when I tried to talk to him again that he exploded.

I guess if there was a way to get anything out of him I blew it!

I think that happens if you talk to him with another character than the main one. I did and he said something else.

I think he's a child of Bhaal too, try all the dialogue alternativs.

That seems to point up a significant difference between Europeans and Americans. A European says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with me?" An American says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with him?"

I reckon that Stonehege was build by the contemporary equivalent of Microsoft, whereas Avebury was definitely an Apple circle.
