XP patch

help, just installed BGII on our new computer with windows XP and its crashing- microsoft analysis says its device drivers.

So, can you please steer me in the direction of the xp patch, i can't remember where it is, the sticky threads don't seem to be working.

So is the problem with XP or BG2? If its with WinXP, try downloading and installing the newest drivers for your sound card, graphics card, etc.

If the problem is with BG2, go here and see if you can find your problem.

I'm running BG2+ToB w/latest patch and a few mods on Win XP Pro w/SP1 and haven't had any problems yet.

Do you have service pack 1 installed?
