Garren's child hostile?

Post by Penguin45 »

Hi. I'm playing BG2 with a female lead. I'm at the part in Windspear Hills where I'm supposed to rescue Garren's child, Taar. The problem is that when I enter the cells (where there are a few enemies), he is hostile (red circle). Why is that? Thanks!

Did you use area effect spells (like Cloudkill or Fireball) when you fight Tazok?

Shouldn't be hostile unless you have harmed the child during the battle in this area. Image

Hmmm, as far as I can remember, didn't use any area effect spells. I'll try to restore from a previous saved game. Thanks guys!
