Performance Question

Post by Rahvin »

I have played BG2 before. I uninstalled it, but decided I wanted to play again, but now it runs INCREDIBLY slow. I have a Sony Vaio that is 1 yr old, well exceeding the requirements. It ran fine the first time, but now it doesn't. I have everything cranked down and it still runs slow. Any suggestions? Hould I completely get rid of all SOA and TOB files? I saved my old games last time. Any help appreciated, my new game is stilkl in irenicus' dungeon so it wouldnt be a huger heartbreak to have to uninstall it all. TIA

Are you running Windows XP? It's very picky about what video driver you have. Try upgrading your video driver.

yea, I am. And thanks, but I got it. I decided to jus go ahead and uninstall, and then I deleted every file related to SoA and ToB on my computer. Then I reinstalled it all to my other hard drive, and it works fine. I think it was a combination of a full C drive and bits and pieces from last time I had it on there. It works great now.
