Experience points

It appears that I am getting only half of the experience points that the strategy guide calls out for quests and enemy killing. Any ideas why I would only be getting half the points???

@Bellock, hi. You might want to be a bit more forthcoming with information about this, explaining where you are, who's in your party, giving specific examples of quests and how much experience you gained from each of them, which strategy guide (official or online, and if the latter, which one) you're referring to, etc. It would make answering you a lot easier.

I have a six person group that I carried over from SOA. I started the TOB and I am now in the Watchers Keep. Since I started the TOB the experience values on all quests have been half of what the official strategy guild calls out. In SOA the experience points reflected the office strategy guild experience almost word for word.

What's your difficulty level? Are you on core rules or easy? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that switching the difficulty bar to the easiest level will lower the xp gained.
