where is menta na's cavern/cave; i dont know where it is, and the daedric prince wasn't very clear as to where he is located, any help would be appreciated

Try «Morrowind Interactive Map» by Lech March. (idea by Dave Humphrey). There's a map online and several download options. Also UESP Morrowind Interactive Map seems to be back online.

Which Daedra issued the quest and what was involved in it? What does the journal say?

Kora-Dur is the place what you need. Menta Na is Daedroth chieftain (monarch) you've been ordered to kill by Molag Bal and lives here.
