Dragons Eye? level2 questionable spoiler

Post by Patrick »

I am in dragons eye and read in the prima stratagy guide that on level two there is like a temple( south of the rakasha and north of the lab) there are two levers one is north and if pulled should summon a pitfiend.?, Well I tried with my 9th levelcleric of helm shield dwarf , who also is a 7th level fighter, I tried at night wich is I assume the only time the lever is up. Any advise would be helpful? Also I only have one histichii brew wich is a reagular dose, is this ok for the spot to drink it to avoide the fear devise and enter the room?

the histachii brew is to be used on level 3. that "temple" is just an altar near the SW corner of the map. the 2 levers r to the N and S of the altar.

SPOILER---

the N one didn't do anything for me, it just damaged me. the S one is broken until it's fixed. just go explore lvl 3 then come back and use it to brew the wyvern poison and histachii brew.

Well I happen to encounter that nasty pit fiends. But I dunno what trigger it. :(

As for the brew, if you have high alchemy pts. char you can make dozens of them. But you only need one doze which is to be used on level 3 (Unless you want your whole party walking as histachii :D )
I'm not dead yet :D :p

Leveltwo

I solved for the Histachii brew but my manual forIWD2 said a 9th level cleric can summon the pit fiend with the north lever only at night. I assume if its up, its night. Any feed back would be helpfull

what feedback do you need? u have your manual (?) telling u, u have some1 confirming it's possible. so go try it out! it's just a pit fiend. not like it's a ton of experience or great items.

The "Pit Fiend" (I had a Gelugon, but maybe it's random) can be gated in this way:

- Have cleric pull the northern lever
- Move cleric to the top of the small pyramid
- Result: Cleric gets protected from evil, gated creature appears east of the pyramid.

You could probably use this to clear out the room if you wanted to, though I'm not not sure if the alchemist could get hurt in the process.

It works now, I think I had to clear some quest first, probably the Holy Advenger. But it was not a pit fiend, it was a glabzurue ( multi-armed demon. If my cleric is higher level, then does it go to say that I would gate in tougher demons? Well thanks Folks

True, it was a Glabrezu, not a Gelugon. I encountered the Gelugon somewhere else.
