Help with Redoran quest

Garisa Llethri in his manor in the Ald'ruhn Manor District asks me to help him shut down the Caldera ebony mine by finding evidence to support his claim of corrupt Hlaalu operations. I found both the real (1) and fake (4) ledgers, talked and freed the slaves, and brought everything back to Garisa Lethri - but he still goes, "Look for journals or record books." AAAGH!!!! It's right there in front of him!!!!

So I went and killed the Caldera mayor as well as everyone at the mines, but he keeps saying I need evidence. Stupid moron!!!!! I tried killing Garisa Llethri and resurrecting him but that won't help either. According to the walkthrough sites I've been to, I'm on the right track. Is this a bug or something? Why can't I show him the real ledger??? Does anyone know the codes to fix this??

This quest is most messed in the game, AFAIK. You should come with secret ledger, get the task to shut down the mine and only then free the slaves. The boards are full with complains with it....
Oh, BTW, have you freed the slave leader in shacks?
