Help!!! Kits Screwed!!!

Post by Khazad »

I have a problem....For some reason, under the listing for Fighter Kits, it does not list the Kensai, Wizard Slayer, and Berserker....It lists the Undead Hunter, Cavalier, and Inquisitor......

So, in effect there is no way to get one of the fighter kits (I have tried everything that I can think of).....

I am guessing that something in the indexing that the game does when it loads has gotten screwed.....

Any of you BGII scripting or modding experts out there run into this before? And, if so, how do I fix it?

All help appreciated!!!!

@DwarfKhazad like the nick :D

I would reinstall the whole game again, and if you still get the same problem contact bioware for help. Also is you have any mods installed this might be what is messing things up......

The only thing that I have installed right now is dungeon-be-gone....Also a few custom items that I made....

I used to have The Darkest Day, but it screwed up the game, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled SoA and ToB....and patches....

Maybe there is still some junk left over from The Darkest Day???

TDD is a probable cause. Delete everything you can on it and uninstall/reinstall BG2. That should do the trick.

Next time back up the override folder and the dialog.tlk file and then instead of having to reinstall, you can just replace those two files. :)
