Custom Items

I have read some post where some people had custom items. How do would I go about makeing my own custom items? Is there a program you use that I can download or what?

There is an Infinity Engine Editor you can download at TeamBG.

Just a footnote to UncleScratchy's post:

You don't really need ShadowKeeper. If you edit an existing item without changing the name, and save the edited file to your Override folder, the new item will occur in the game. This has the advantage that you actually have to fight for the new item (or purchase it) rather than simply giving it to your character.

However, this also has the effect of destroying an existing item, and the enemies might not be scripted to take advantage of your modifications.
