Ald'rhun Mages

My mages in Ald'ruhn are gone and won't come back! I can't get any duties from the dude in Sadrith Mora, 'cause he's busy making a potion for Edwynna, but she's no where to be found! Is this because I was so busy selling things that I had pilfered that I accidentally sold (and can no longer find) the knife I was told to steal from the guild?

It was a long time ago that the mages disappeared and I was getting confused with all my quests from the different Guilds (I was over zealous when I first started this game 'cause it's so cool). So, I started completing each Guild requirements before moving on to another one. However, I can say for sure that a mage did NOT jump me, and since, I've become the Nerevarine and Hortator. I'm wondering if that's where the glitch entered - maybe I should have completed all factions/guilds before joyously jumping ahead to the glory of renowned fame!?

Did you deliver the sword to Angoth the Jeweler? After doing this, I suppose the mages will return.

I'm pretty sure in my eagerness to earn money, et cetera, I sold the stupid thing to someone and I've looked all over for - but who knows how long I carried it around before that . . . I imagine it's in good (or evil) hands somewhere in the realm of Varndenfell . . . the next time I play this game, I'll just have to make sure that I don't get over zealous!
