If I have a lawful main character, but use a thief who is not lawful (impossible anyway) to rob everyone in Athalka blind, will it have negetive effects on the main character?

You'd think so, wouldn't you? But no, that's not the way it works. However, if your thief is caught stealing, then your party's reputation will drop.

The only time alignment is truly, irrevocably affected is in the trials in hell. -I may be missing something, since I'm currently on a MOO3 binge, but that's all I can recall at the moment.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
