Don't people play this game?

Post by Skuld »

I've been playing this game for about two weeks, and the Larian boards are goin like crazy. But why do people hardly post anything here. Doesn't anyone play this game? It's a great game with an awesome character development system, and quests which are all but linear. And besides that it's relatively cheap, so whomever doesn't have it, run out and get a copy.

I think Larian has a far greater presence in Europe than it does in the US, thanks to poor advertising and distribution. As a result, hardly anybody knows about what a fine game it is, even after some of the major websites and magazines reviewed it.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Alright - I am going to get the game. I have been reading these threads for a while thinking I should get the game - I tried IWDII and it is really boring. I long for a single player BGII type game - I am going to give it a try...I will post later with my impressions. :)

Well think of it as looking almost identical to Diablo in appearance with a decent story, oportunities for roleplaying, plenty of sidequests and exploring, and a pause button.
