Forgot to pick special ability

I started ToB last night and forgot to pick special abilities (greater Whirlwind, etc.). (I have not played for a while and forgot about this). After levelling up, the interface would not allow me to get back to game because I did not pick any abilities, - so I hit Enter and was able to continue.

Will I be able to pick them up retroactively next time I level or say through a program like Shadowkeeper?

How many do I get? My party is Archer (17), Minsc (17), Keldorn, Jaheira (15/15 or so) Imoen (17/7 - I think), and Aerie. They level up shortly after starting ToB and as I recall from an earlier uncompleted game at least Archer, Minsc and Jaheira get to pick special abilities.

not sure if sk works with tob items and hla etc, if you can find it, set the number of abilities higher by 1 etc :/

Don't remember right now, but you could check the GameBanshee Walkthrough, or the manual. I think SK supports high level abilities, but I'm not sure....

Yes, Shadow Keeper works with ToB items and hla.

Try to play one for a while..... mybe next time you lvl up you can pick 2
