ring of wizardry for a sorcerer ?

so the ring of wizardry, does it help with a sorcerer like for example : if you can cast 7 lvl 7 spells and then you put on the ring of wizardry can you cast than 8 lvl 7 spells or does it do nothing for the sorcerer
help me out here guys

Yes, it's extra copies of spells for all mage-types, including the sorc.
