If i'm not mistaken loot is randomized in IWD II

i guess it is, but there may be a place where you get it as a reward - and thus it is possible to cheesely reload the game until you get it (reminicent of BG1 save-before-level-up-for-good-HP-roll. i just like to know who gives it, or who drops it.
