Fun Bug

Post by CrownHead »

While I was playing a while ago I had the cheats turned on and was browsing/playing with what I could do with them, when I found something really cool.

I thought since I had booted up my guy to god-like status, I could kill Renal Bloodscalp. WRONG. That one thief showed up and tried to kill me, I was going to press control+y on him and kill him, but I accidently pressed r or h or, I can't remember. Anyway, it charmed him and put him in my party, I was able to go into his inventory and look at all the cool items he had, not to mention giving him items, and then I pressed the automatic reform party button my player character, which made him leave, so I just had this thief in my party. This got me thinking, I could have a party created entirely of non playable npcs! Right now it's

Aran Linvail
Renal Bloodscalp
Mea'var (actually a really good character, he's a mage too.)
Bhodi (using the CLUA Console)
Kangaxx Demi-Lich form (oh my GOD, give him the boots of speed.)
Greater Wolfwere (CLUA Console)

There are a lot of anoyying bugs, but so far I've cleared the entire city except for the temple and the government distict. At first I had that one thief in the party and the Slayer, but the one thief kept attacking the party randomly and the slayer kept saying I didn't want him in the party and leaving.

But anyway, Endless NPCs at your disposal! Game Clearing FUN! :D

Most likely you've pressed CTRL-Q.
It's not a bug, it's one of those things used for DE-bugging :p
Still, you may have fun with it...

the funniest version of this is the live stock party....

moose, squirrel, chicken, and cow...

cow sorceror kills firky with a spook spell and many magic missiles....

but its much much more stable and safer to use shadow keeper to sk the avatar...for example, if you createcreature "boo" this will allow you to add boo to your party, but the game will crash if you level her up....because certain creatures in the game are literally not designed to level up...so make a mage or figher and change the avatar..

by the way, the harlot avatar used on a mage or sorc....well, if you cast magic missiles, the missiles come out of her...

never mind....

ever heard of goo??? this is the floating disembodied eyeball npc....

you can have a lot of fun if you know something about cre files...i once made a bunny familar with demogorgon claws, improved haste, and some nice undroppable enhance items, like ring of gaxx and red dragon scale...watching it tear thru firky was a riot...
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!
