Shadow Thieves BUG?

Hello Everyone!!I need help!!!!!
I 've just started played this game and i ve had some problems with dialogues but i understood that was due to a bug!! The big problem was when i killed Mae Var and returned to the Shadow thieves guild to claim my reward all the thieves were hostile to me!!However they could kill me and every member in my party at just one hit of 9 damage!!!!!!!!What is going on!!Did i do something wrong? And what is this KAzuma guy anyway?!!?!

I'm not sure why they are hostile, but that one hit kill dude is there so you don't mess up the game.

Thanx very much for your advice. I already did. But what about KAzuma? am i not supposed to release him. Can you give me a clue?

I think that you did what I also did a couple of times.
When you have the proof agains ma'var, you should report back tot the shadow thiefes.
And they order you to attack ma'var.
You dhouldn't attack ma'var before you've shown the proof to Renal Bloodscalp.

Also whenever you try to kill an importent story character, a guy pops up and kills you isntantly.

But I think you ment the prisoner in ma'var's room,
him you should release (especially if you main character is a thief), after you're ordered to kill ma'var

I did so. The prisoner seemed to be a poor old man so i released him after i killed Mae Var. Thanx anyway

Yes, you should release Kazuma, especially if you're getting the thieve's guild stronghold - he'll provide you with some handy advice. Also, if you accidentally kill him (i.e. with AoE spells) while doing the Mae'Var fight, you lose 10 points of reputation.

The shadow thieves being hostile is likely because of some previous action, though if you haven't blown off Bodhi, you can still complete the game by taking the Vampire's side in Chapter 3. If it's Arkanis Gath doing the killing, you'll have to revert to an earlier save.
