For the sake of SPAM: Should I bet on this dark horse?

Post by Minerva »

Today is the Grand National day in UK, the biggest national hunt race in the world, and only time I bet. As usual, my heart is set on the Irish, though, ever being cautious, I checked all the entries. And, surprise, surprise!! There's a horse called Wonder Weasel!
Interesting at big price
BBC Sport
Will be staying on at the end although quite clearly at one pace. A great bet to get round but unlikely to figure at the business end.
Daily Telegraph

At his odds 50-1 (or even 66-1 somewhere else), is he worth my £1?

Thanks! :D

I'm watching the introduction of the runners and riders on BBC now. And wonder Weasel is introduced:

He's better than his name suggest.
LMFAO :D :D :D

It's odd. I know it's a horse, but I just got the image of Weasel running side-by-side with all these massive animals... :D

Woe and alas! Wonder Weasel didn't make it to the finish (fell during race)!

Hope you saved your money, Minerva.

After all, Wonder Weasel was what as his name suggests. Fall at the third fence. :o

I had my bet on the winner, btw. More money for more Guinness next week in Dublin. :D

Image + Image = Image ?

Hrm....perhaps an investigation should be put up....But the possibilities are endless.

But, to answer your question, Minerva: Sure! Any SYMian would go and make a bet on Wonder Weasel :D

I don't think viagra is allowed. And in this case, I don't think it helped anyway. :o
