Pickpocketing

I'm new to Morrowind (obviously) and haven't figured out this sneak thing, how can I pick pocket somebody?

I need to get the code book.

*Hey there Obsidian*

Pick pocketing is one of the harder things to do. Basically, you have to be in sneak mode, go up to them undetected and click on them like you were going to talk to them. Their invintory opens up, and you can lift items from it. Seldome will you see everything. Sometimes nothing. You may have to do this a few times before you see what you are looking for. It is kinda like going through one pocket at a time.

The problem is, they usually see you when you click on them. There are tips and tricks and ways to improve your chances, but those would be spoilers.

If you acquire the code book before joining the Thieves Guild, they won't let you join - "You don't meet [their] requirements." Then you must be careful about how you acquire it, as you could be expelled.

yo whats with all the space? and when pickpocketing, remember its good to take the little things. If u take 1000 gold thier alot more likely to see u then if u take 50 gold.

I have never really noticed any difference, but I have noticed that your success is very dependent on your sneak skills.

BTW, Have you gotten the 'Amulet of Shadows' ?.....it is a great little trinket that gives you 80% Chameo.
