Help needed: Cleric tower (spoiler)

During the ilmater ritual, the god xwim interupts you. I have tried to fight him, but I just manage to get him "barely injured". He seems to be immune to most of my damage. How do i kill him?
I am getting frustrated, please help me!!!

He has an extremely high damage resistance, and if I'm correct, he's immune to piercing damage completely. You need to buff as much as you can, spread out your party so his Incineration Cloud and like spells don't get too much damage in and just pound away, until his resistance is gone (takes a while), healing when needed. Once it's gone though, he goes down in no time. What characters are in your party and what levels are they?

I managed to take him down. With a couple of earth elemetals and a lot of electrisity spells (bonus damage).

Just by luck (I think) I managed to take him down by getting my level 15 wizard to cast disintegrate on him, his items didn't disappear either which is usually what happens.

(I did have to try it 3 times though as it doesn't always work)
