Stolen goods

Post by lusipher »

Alrighty, I have a question regarding.... THAT'S RIGHT, stolen goods. I am completely aware that if you steal something from someone that item regardless of where it is obtained, will forever register with them as stolen from them.

My question is about armour. I stole a suit of glass armour at the beginning of the game, and have since, legally obtained another suit. My problem arises when I go to the guards to pay a fine from a crime, they take the stolen suit AND the legally acquired suit. How then, can I lose the stolen suit, and keep the legal suit without ever having the risk of losing it again?

For the sake of answering my question, assume that I WILL commit more crimes, and I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE CAUGHT, by the guards. Paying to remove the price from my head is not an option, I WANT to lose the stolen suit, but I want to keep the earned suit.

So, any suggestions?

You could always drop the suit on the ground before paying the fines. Or, I guess you could retrieve them from the chest marked "Evidence" in the nearest Fort, Don't know if there is any permanent solution though..
