Help, shadow doors (very slight spoiler I think)
Ok I'm going nuts. First of all, I have BG2 with ToB installed, it's fully patched, and the Baldurdash fixes are installed on top of that. Now, I have a solo sorcerer, level 17, in the temple ruins. I go down to the sun gem or whatever it's called and take it so I can open all the doors. Then I go through the first shadow door fine. Go down, complete the circle thing, then go right to the shadow door and it says it's locked. It just won't open. So I go to the other unopened door and it's also locked. So I reload to a save right before entering the temple, and the exact same thing happens. Fortunately, being a solo sorc, this isn't a crucial quest for xp or items, but I like to complete everything so any ideas?
Major spoilage:
I remember that the second door you come to is locked. I don't know about the other door, but I remember that you get a key which opens up one of the doors by completing the Morning/noon/evening ritual with the statue in the first area. To get around the first locked door, you have to go over a bridge and through a room with lava in it
The rituals aren't so hard, it gives you 3 choices for each part, and there are 3 parts to each ritual--3 rituals all together. I would just guess for each part of the ritual; if you are wrong there's a small health penalty from the statue. But completing that gives you a key which opens up one of the doors.
Don't forget to turn in the bones of the priestess; that gives you the shadow dragon wardstone for later. And the final key is found across the room with all the letters on the floor in a container in the corner of the room.
I'm sure I left something out, but I hope that helps.

Good things come to those that wait--but only what's left over from those that hustle.

Spoiler
O.K.
There are 3 doors but only two gems. the gems open the first and third doors. the first gem (you already found) is on the pedestal. The second gem is found either in a room above the room with the lava, or in a room above the puzzle (letters on the floor) in the statues arms along with a magic sling. (can't remember which, been a long time ). it is a red or pink gem. hope you find it. If you need any more help just ask . Also this might be better in the SoA forum.
