main quest finished but ranks have not changed

Hey all,

I've finished the main quest and got the ring from Azura however in my character screen, my rankings in Blades and Ashlander has not changed. Does anyone know what I need to do/ who I need to talk to so that I can advance these ranks. Thanks,

What are your ranks in each organization?

Hey ltldrgn1,

In Ashlanders, my rank is Hearthfriend and in Blades it's Operative. When I check the character screen, it looks like these are fairly low levels. I've also got the highest rank in Thieves, Fighters, Mages, Morang Tong, Temple, Imperial Cult and Imperial Legion. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

This is a good question, Iron Man.

I am in exactly the same situation as you having also finished the main quest. There seem to be further levels in the Clans and Blades factions but I also don't know who can advance me.

Hopefully, someone here will know the answer.

Did you go through all of the quests in the Blades and Ashlanders before finishing the main quest, or did you jump ahead?

IIRC operative is the last rank you attain before Caius gets "recalled". As for the ashlanders, go to your inventory screen and scroll down to your ranks, put the mouse cursor over the ashlander rank and it should tell you what is needed to obtain the next rank. If you did not go back to the Urshiliku(sp?) camp after each trial you may not have gotten your promotions. if this doesn't work post again and maybe we can figure it out.

I didn't go back to the Urshilaku camp between trials that were assigned by the other camps. When I mouse over both Ashlander and Blades, both show that there are advacements. It's not a stats problem, with the exception of a few, all of my skills are at 100. Besides Caius, are there any other Blades operatives that can assign quests?

I've also gone back to all the camps and talked to everyone in the hope that someone could advance me but that didn't work. I also thought that maybe the Emperor could advance me seeing as how Blades is his spy organization but I can't find the Emperor. Anyway, I do appreciate all who have tried to help and hopefully we can figure this out,

Blades: unfortunately, you can't advance any farther in the blades. Caius is the only one who can advance you (you never see the emperor) and as operative, you outrank any other blades member. As for the Ashlanders, I'm not sure if you can advance any further there either as its not really considered a "house" or "guild". The next time I play, I will load an old game and check my ranks (I usually visit the camp after each quest). Will keep you posted.
