Hello
I have a problem with the stone nuisances in TOTL. When I meet them at level 5 of the dungeon. Whit which manner can you hurt them because while I'm hacking on them they getting no harm.
Thanks for helping!
TOTL, Stone Nuisances
Strange... I could hurt them fine. In melee, at least. Maybe you need a weapon with a certain amount of +es (my stuff was +3/+4).
Then again, you don't need to kill them at all.

IIRC, only blunt weapons do any damage to them.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

They are *really* tough but IIRC there are a few simple tricks.
Blunt weapons of a certain + value work best (though I may be wrong - maybe its normal blunt weapons, no magic?).
Something else worked really well for me, acid fog IIRC. Or was that the jellies? Or both? I think they may have neglected the acid resistance property.
Finally, they're worthless for XP, so you can run past 'em. This works well when your character has the simple shield spell cast on them.... think about it!
