Mod question
Hey I just downloaded and installed The Darkest Day mod and I noticed that there is no way to get back to the original game. I also noticed that my save games are still there in the original game. So two things. First, will my old save files still work correctly? Second, is there any way other then removing TDD to switch back to the original SoA? Thanks.
TDD is a total conversion of SoA, the only way to Un-Install al its components is a compleet re-install from SoA... sorry!
To benefit the extra's that TDD adds you need to start a new game, your old savegames will probably not work correctly (save them in case you need them in the future).
Begin a new game, and not an existing one

TDD is not a total conversion of anything, it just overwrites a bunch of stuff. I believe it alleges to have an uninstaller. That said, it probably WOULD be safer to do a complete uninstall, including manually wiping out your override directory, to get rid of it.
Your existing saves would not show you various new TDD content and should probably be avoided.
However, when you say "get back to the original game", just because they've changed the start screen doesn't mean they've changed everything. It's largely still the old SOA.
