Do you eat meat? (thread-related spam only)
I want to know is just how much meat is in your daily diet, and what kind. Why? Mainly, because everything else about you has already been catalogued by your national government except this, and it's about time the rest of the world had access to whatever other information you're hiding behind that naive and bewitching smile. Secondly, food and its contents have been in the news a great deal, lately. Our eating habits affect many things beside our adult height and the begging notices from Waverly's harem of livestock.
So how far are you along a line from a red meat-to-veggie type? And what are your thoughts, if any, about the food you eat?

I prefer white meat, fish is my favourite. Not for any moral reasons, I just like the flavour/texture better.
I do eat red meat (usually mince) if someone else is doing the cooking and cooks it, and bacon is nice every now and then too, but mostly it's fish and chicken for me.

Do I eat meat ..... well does Weasel plan to take over the world?
I prefere red meat (eat a lot of pork also, and chickens and lamb (mutton? I think you brits call it) ... well you get the idea), a nice big juicy steak ..... yummy.
Steaks have to be cooked rare, blooddripping rare
- no need for thoese sho-leather cooked steaks. (well pork and lamb needs to be well done though)

Well, I was vegetarian for 5 years and was very happy that way. Vegetarian food is delicious, in my opinion.
However, I eat meat and fish occaisionally now because my health is quite unpredictable and something like a piece of fish or chicken perks me up when I'm feeling dodgy.
But I'd say I prefer vegetarian food and I don't much like the idea of animals being hurt.

I'll admit, I'm up in the chicken-favored category, though I'm partial to fish, too. My wife got me off a heavy red meat diet years ago--well, that, plus the regular use of chicken in Indian stews, which we both prefer.
But I still have this itch for thick omelets with cheese and bacon, which only gets satisfied once every couple of months.

I opted for the "no red meat option." Although it is not quite accurate, it is closer than the image of the entirely carnivorous barbarian
I used to be a vegetarian for quite a long time but then during pregnancy found I could not handle the grain, bean and cheese combinations. It was just too difficult to digest. So I reintroduced chicken and fish into my diet.
Now I happily eat chicken and fish. Sometimes I consume the occasional bit of lamb or game.... And I have a serious weakness for the odd bit of cured meat sometimes...
There is a lot of debate out there on the health aspects of eating red meat (or any meat/animal products at all if you are a fanatical vegetarian)... but IMHO, from a health perspective, it is not so much the meat itself that is the culprit but rather it are all the growth hormones, antibiotics and the like that cause the problems. So as much as possible we try to get free range.... which is also more ethical (and tastes much better)
It is also a matter of balance and moderation... It might be problematic if somebody consumes red meat and a lot of high fat foods every day... But if their weekly diet is interspersed with "healthier" options, they do not eat all kinds of overly- processed foods and if they consume lots of produce etc........

, My mum was on a diet with no red meat for like 3 years and since she did most of the coocking back then there suddenly was no more beef steaks for dinner
that was my worst three tears so far food wise
, but now meat is back at the plates at home...... it seems moving to a warmer coutry had the same effect as no red meat on my mum

Meat = 3 or 4 times a week
Fish = 2 times a week
Other than that mainly pasta
Don`t like chicken so I never eat that. Horrid taste.
