i accepted Barud's quest in killing all the monks at the monastery. Is this a wise choice? I see that there is a dialogue option available to make it so you dont have to kill all the monks, but which is wiser/more beneficial to do?
my party consists of:
2 lvl12 Half-Orc Barbarians (200hp)
1 lvl11 Human Aasimir Paladin (132hp)
1 lvl12 Human Druid(108hp)
1 lvl11 Wild Elf Sorcerer(55hp)
anyone?
also, on my second time through, should i kill the iron golems and loot the tomb?
in the long run you will get more experience by refusing to kill the monks. you also might want to consider slaughtering the entire duergar barracks right after you complete the river caves quest. just a little hint.
actually the tomb items are useless, however i do make it a point of killing the golems (after all the monastery quests are done) because they give great xp. in fact, barring the ones in the wizard tower in the severed hand i suggest you kill ALL golems (flesh goles do not count, because they suck) that you encounter as they tend to give fat globs of experience.
hehe yeah, i asked the question but continued as if i shouldnt kill them with a save slot right before the dialogue. i saw why you said that, but i cheesed it and set like 7 skulltraps near the door and below the stairs when opening the door to the underdark :x that made fast work of them.
