daedric wakazishi

i have been told that the daedric wakazashi is the best non magical short sword in the game, does anyone know the location of one that they could give me directions to? thanks for any help

I've only seen them as random loot found on dremora's and dremora lord's bodies (your PC must be high-level or they'll drop dwemer weapons instead of daedric.) The daedric shrine near Hla Oad has good chance of spawning dremoras - just run in and out of the shrine killing the daedra and disposing of their bodies until you get one with the weapon you want.

As Sojourner said, they are mostly random items taken from dead Dremora Lords. But there is one sure one to find. Its on a sunken ship called the Prelude off the coast of Bal Fell. Its part of a House Hlaalu quest but you can stumble on it regardless. I got my first wakashashi off an assassin who ambushed me (Tribunal required) while I slept. They are out there and as far as a short sword is concerned they are possibly the best to be had, especially for enchanting.

If you're about lvl 20 you should think about going up to red mountain. Up there you'll find a good load of daedric weapons a (near) full suit of glass armour (no helm), and a very nasty man

. I think there's a certain daedric shortsword and wakizashi on dead bodies.
