as your mage advanced ?
cuz with me he just offer the same spells no mather what lvl i am

I got higher level spells from him. I think he only upgrades once though. For me the spells came after the vale of shadows or dragon eye. One of those. I think the highest level he has is about 5.
he changes after each chapter i believe...including his available magic items
