Is Watchers keep easier in SoA?

Post by Mini Me »

OK hers what happened to me:
I got an ok multiplayer party going, why dont i go to wk and get some items out of the crates/chests etc. befor i go to the underdark. I won't have to fight many hard things if i stick to the first lvl. So off i go, prepped for loads of statues to attack me once ive done some stuff. When i get there, there are hardly any statues! there are 2 next to altar (4 when my bro did it) and loads more missing, including the one wielding foebane!!!! EEEKKK  ! i didnt have much trouble with statues and i was thinking o yeah im gonna get a foebane, but then ill go to asylum.
Grr :(
Plz tell me whats wrong. is it difficulty or do some only appear when u go during chapters 8/9/10?
Any help=greatly appreciated

This likely depends on your main character's XP, the number of party members, your difficulty settings, or any combination of that. XP almost definitely.

What happens (I believe) is that at the lower levels, the game takes out some of the statues to make the fight easier. This often happens. For instance, in the temple ruins at high levels you fight a couple liches instead of skeleton warriors. Anyways, in WK the game removes the statue that holds Foebane. I don't think that there is any way to fix this, so I'd recommend that you import the sword with CLUAConsole. The item code is "sw1h62". You could also import the statue that has the sword, but I'm not sure what the code for that is.

thx guys. I loaded b4 killing the statues and just nicked stuff out of chests. If i return later, say, chap. 6 will WK have inserted the statue or am i doomed to cheating?

Wasn't the Foebane bug fixed in the patch?
It may seem like I'm doing nothing, but on cellular level, I'm really quite busy...

I'm pretty sure that the bug was fixed in some patch, but I can't remember which one. It might of been the official patch or the baldurdash one. You'd have to check. Either way I'd recommend you get all fo the patches, though.
