i was wondering what is the best time to multi class a charichter

here are some useful thoughts:
if you plan a rogue as one of the classes, start the char with it, for the extra skill points (4+int)*4
if you have more than 2 classes, add the levels in order that does not cause exp penalty (classes other than favorite should not be more than 1 level apart)
some classes have restrictions on multiclassing (pal, monk). you may have to level all the levels you want in this class at once.
oh, and read "Kaylees guide to multiclassimg" thread...
