If I had known this would happen all along, I would have planned in advance, but here I am. I have PC-fighter, Minsc, Yoshimo, Nalia, Aerie, Jaheira. I use Yoshi for locks/traps. Nalia is primary offensive spell-caster. Jaheira summons insects often and can fight. Aerie generally used for heal/restore/monstor summoning. Minsc and PC are fighters. If I understand correctly, if I don't boot Yoshimo now, he will die, no? Also, I need room for Imoen in the party. I can't do without Nalia's spells. I really like some of Jaheira's spells. Do I need Aerie for anything to come in Ch. 4 or later, and should I boot her before rescuing Imoen or wait and leave her in the spellhold, or should I wait and pick of Imoen later after she escapes the spellhold? Will I be able to manage well without Yoshi's lock and trap skills later? Should I boot him now and get him back or let him die as I expect him to?
This is a difficult problem, and I am somewhat distressed that my well oiled machine is about to be disrupted. It's too late to use other NPC's, since I finished most Ch. 2 quests with this party.
Please advise.

Party Management with respect to Asylum (SPOILER)
If you let yoshi die you will get some extra xp. So my advice is:Let him die, pick up imoen and complete the game. From what I've experienced, booth Imoen and Nalia are skilled enough as thieves to handle traps, doors etc. If you encounter a really difficulttrap or door you can allways use a potion if master thievery or fall back on spells. @JS, if you're going to post a topic in which you state spoilers and/or request 'em, please put that info in your title line. (I've done it for you this time.) We still have a lot of new players coming along, and they deserve to know this in advance.
@Pe Ell, that goes double for something major like you gave away. Do something like this--
SPOILER AHEAD...

...if you're going to simply fire off a spoiler, let alone a major plot point in the game, okay? Thanks.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
